The accounting department at the Walton College enjoys strong relationships with corporate partners. These corporate connections are enhanced through networking events, speaking events, and academic activities – culminating in employment opportunities.
Career Center
The Career Development Center at the Walton College provides MAcc students with personalized career planning. Their dedicated staff focuses on your career aspirations and assists you with your resume, interview skills, job search strategies, and salary negotiations. On-campus interviews are typically held in the Career Center's office on the 2nd floor of Willard J. Walker Hall. Learn more.

Accounting Internships
The majority of students will begin interviewing for their internships during their sophomore and junior year, as most internships are designed to take place during the Spring or Summer of the Senior year. Recruiters consider internships to be a key strategy for full-time employment recruiting. Learn more.

Masters Degree
The MAcc program is a 30-hour program designed to be completed in one year for students with appropriate backgrounds in business administration and economics and with an undergraduate concentration in accounting.

The Integrated MACC
Bachelors AND Masters Degree
Undergraduate accounting students at the University of Arkansas have the option to obtain both a Bachelors and a Masters of Accountancy in a five-year period, and will meet the academic requirements required to sit for the CPA exam.

While your focus as a student is naturally on taking a certification exam, remember that this is just a step towards professional certification. In addition to passing a certification exam, there are additional requirements (e.g., experience requirements, continuing education requirements) for professional certification or licensing that you also must fulfill after graduation.
