Not having a 2021 class for the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame to celebrate this month gives the Walton College the opportunity to look back at the legacy of the hall of fame and to remember our very first class honored in 1999.

Today we celebrate William T. Dillard, the founder of Dillard’s Department Stores, whose legacy extends far beyond his company.  Our accounting department was recently named in his honor.

Watch for these stories and others to be displayed on our homepage at walton.uark.edu as we celebrate the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame throughout February.

Remember, you can nominate business leaders to be members of the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame. Just go to walton.uark.edu/abhf/ where you will find how to nominate and the criteria for hall of fame honorees.
