Student Bios

Lydia is completing a double-major in finance and accounting and has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists every semester of her collegiate career. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, a fitness instructor for University Recreation, and a Younglife leader. After graduation, Lydia will continue working as a financial analyst in the commodity purchasing group at Tyson Foods. About her time at Walton, Lydia says, "The Walton College has not only given me an amazing education but also the ability to travel the world, make amazing friends, and push myself farther as a student and a person."

Taylor was previously named an Outstanding Accounting Student and the 2019 Outstanding Graduating Senior at the Walton College. She completed her undergraduate studies summa cum laude and has served as a graduate assistant while obtaining her master’s degree. After graduation, Taylor will work for Walmart in their accounting and finance development program and sit for the CPA exam. About her time at Walton, Taylor says, "My key learnings from the Walton College came from my study abroad experiences in Japan and India and also my relationship with the faculty."

Parker Bacon is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and previously served on the Arkansas Student Union Board. He was named ISYS 2103 Student Scholar and received the Donald E. Hall Memorial Scholarship, University Academic Scholarship, and New Arkansan Non-resident Tuition Award. Parker is exploring graduate school and full-time employment opportunities. About his time at Walton, Parker says, "One of my best memories while attending Walton College of Business will be the opportunities I had to work with and learn from different professors working as a Senior Scholar."

Garrett is completing a double-major in finance and supply chain management. He is president of the Finance Club, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and a recipient of the Chancellor’s Community Scholarship. After graduation, Garrett will start a position as a supply chain manager for Procter & Gamble. About his time at Walton, Garrett says, "My key learning moment was when I first started out in the Walton College and I realized everyone I reached out [to] was willing and happy to help me succeed and find my passion."

Sadie is completing a triple-major in finance, economics, and accounting. She is vice president of Associated Student Government, secretary of the Program Allocations Board, distinguished delegate of Model United Nations, and a member of the Chancellor’s Commission on Women, Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, Order of Omega honor society, and Italian honor society. She received the Betty Clark Banking Scholarship, Mary Ann Greenwood Endowed Scholarship, Frank Newell Memorial Scholarship, Rosecrans Memorial Scholarship, and AOII Diamond Jubilee Scholarship. After graduation, Sadie will work for Stephens Inc. in Little Rock as an investment banking analyst. About her time at Walton, Sadie says, "The Walton College taught me that knowledge isn't the only thing you need to succeed, it's all about the community and the people who inspire you to be better every day, luckily I was able to find all of those things here."

Julie was named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists every semester of her collegiate career. She is a Walton Fellow, received the Chancellor’s Scholarship and Arkansas Governor’s Scholarship, and was named one of the accounting department’s Outstanding Juniors. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, was part of the winning team for the 2019 Beta Alpha Psi honor society regional competition, and is Beta Alpha Psi’s incoming president. She has interned with Arvest, Walmart Global Audit Services, and BKD CPAs and Advisors. After graduation, Julie will complete Walton’s Integrated Master of Accountancy program with a concentration in assurance and analytics and hopes to pass all four sections of the CPA exam prior to starting her professional career. About her time at Walton, Julie says, "During my time in the Walton College of Business, I have not only learned practical skills for my future career, but have also been exposed to experienced mentors that have provided support and encouragement that will go beyond the time we spent in the classroom."

Cade completed his supply chain management degree in December. He was named a Senior of Significance by the Arkansas Alumni Association and served as vice president of recruitment for Interfraternity Council, senator for Associated Student Government, and secretary and philanthropy chair for Kappa Alpha Order. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and received the James A. Williams Memorial Scholarship and Kendall Cram Scholarship. Cade is employed as a subcontract administrator associate at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

Alice is president of Serving Older Adults and a Brandon Burlsworth Scholar. She received an Honors Research Grant and was named a Senior of Significance by the Arkansas Alumni Association. After graduation, Alice plans to apply to medical school. About her time at Walton, Alice says, "I learned to continually improve and be ok with myself when I make a mistake."

Meredith completed her supply chain management degree in December. She was a member of the Arkansas Supply Chain Association, Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence, Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and National Society of Leadership and Success, while volunteering for Cub Scouts, veterans’ groups, and PTA. Meredith is exploring full-time employment opportunities in the Northwest Arkansas area with Walmart, Tyson, and the vendor community. About her time at Walton, Meredith says, "Being immersed in the collaborative environment at the Walton College of Business gave me great insights and prepared me for my career in Supply Chain Management."

Himani Chauhan completed a Bachelor of Technology in computer science prior to starting the Master of Information Systems program. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and served as a graduate assistant. After graduation, she will begin work as a data analyst.

Adrianna is completing an accounting degree. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi honor societies and volunteers for Lifesource, Northwest Arkansas Food Pantry, Afterschool All-Stars, and as a tax preparer for VITA. She received the Silas Hunt Scholarship, was named a Forbes Under 30 Summit Scholar, and interned twice for PwC, where she was the Market Winner for their Skills for Society Start Intern Project. After graduation, Adrianna will complete a master’s in professional accounting at University of Texas – Austin and her CPA certification, then start a position in the deals group at PwC’s Dallas office in fall 2021.

Matthew has been a Chancellor’s Scholar and Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholar his collegiate career and a Nestle USA College Scholar for the past two years. He has repeatedly been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists, is amember of Beta Gamma Sigma and Order of Omega honor societies, and has served as recruitment chairman for Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He is a cell group leader at Fellowship Bible Church and group leader at Kanakuk Kamps. After graduation, Matthew will pursue his Master of Accountancy at the Walton College and work as a graduate assistant for the Interfraternity Council at the University of Arkansas. About his time at Walton, Matthew says, "The Walton College quickly humbled me and created a work-ethic within myself that I will forever be grateful for."

Michael is completing a double-major in finance and accounting. He is a founding member and serves as vice president of health and safety for Theta Chi Fraternity. He is a member of the Finance Club and received the New Arkansan Non-resident Tuition Award. After graduation, Michael will join the analyst development program at Murphy USA.

Ben is completing Walton’s Healthcare Executive MBA program. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies, was previously named UAMS Resident of the Year, and won the Robert M. Bransford, M.D. Award for Outstanding Chief Resident in General Surgery. After graduation, Ben will continue to pursue clinical excellence as a trauma surgeon and opportunities that allow him to affect positive change in his field. About his time at Walton, Ben says, "More than anything the EMBA taught me the language of business and executives, which is unknown to many physicians; I think this allows me to understand a lot of the business issues which have very real impact on patient care."

Michael left behind a 25-year career in information systems to pursue an MIS degree, with the goal of teaching college students. While obtaining his degree, he took a position on the graduate programs team for Walton’s information systems department and currently teaches undergraduate classes in business analytics and information systems projects. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and after graduation, he will become the information systems department’s associate director of graduate programs. About his time at Walton, Michael says, "My favorite memory of my time at Walton was the global immersion trip to Ireland in the spring of 2019."

Mason is an Honors College Fellow, Governor’s Distinguished Scholar, and Eagle Scout. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and Beta Upsilon Chi Fraternity, where he previously served as vice president of brotherhood. After graduation, Mason plans to stay in Fayetteville and work for a year, prior to pursuing an economics-related graduate degree in fall 2021. About his time at Walton, Mason says, "The community of peers I've had in Walton and the Walton Honors Program have challenged me, encouraged me, and befriended me."

Chloe is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, where she has served as vice president of standards and vice president of finance. She has been named to the Chancellor’s List and completed a human resources internship for ABM Industries. Chloe is currently seeking a full-time human resources position. About her time at Walton, Chloe says, "I feel lucky to be a student at Walton and take advantage of the amazing networking opportunities they provide us."

Brielle has consistently been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists. She is passionate about volunteering, especially for the Fayetteville Animal Shelter and Potter’s House Thrift Store. After graduation, Brielle will start full-time employment. About her time at Walton, Brielle says, "My best memory while at the Walton College was learning how to develop my own personal brand and achieve excellence."

Nick is completing a double-major in supply chain management and information systems. He was a procurement intern for Phillips 66, part of the Nestle supply chain co-op program, and a project leader for the McMillon Innovation Studio. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and the Walton Honors program and served as Co-President of Associated Student Government. He received the John Will McAllister Honors College Fellowship and the John Ozment Outstanding Junior Award and was selected as a Razorback Classic by the Arkansas Alumni Association. After graduation, Nick will be employed by EY in their Advisory Consultant Program.

Tenley is completing a triple-major in economics, international and global studies, and Spanish. She is vice president of Students for Refugees and received the Arkansas Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship. She was named UREC referee of the year in 2017 and UREC supervisor of the quarter in 2020. After graduation, Tenley will move to Spain, where she will teach English for a year.

Derek’s main extra-curricular activity is being a Shriner. As a former patient of Shriners Hospital for Children, he feels it is important to give back and help others that might be in a similar situation that he once was. After graduation, Derek will pursue a master’s degree in operations management at the University of Arkansas, as well as explore full-time employment opportunities. About his time at Walton, Derek says, "The ability to interact and work on projects with real businesses provides a much greater level of career readiness than an average classroom."

Ryan is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi honor societies and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was named one of the accounting department’s Outstanding Juniors and received the Chancellor’s Community Scholarship, Dr. Albert Steplock Scholarship, and James P. Modisette Scholarship. He is the director of operations and finance for Elevate Performance, LLC and will be an intern at Walmart this summer and a Becker Campus Ambassador starting in the fall. After graduation, Ryan will complete Walton’s Integrated Master of Accountancy program and then start work for Walmart as an analyst in their accounting and finance development program, with plans to sit for the CPA exam within two years.

Elizabeth completed her finance degree in December and is a member of Phi Mu sorority. She was named to the Chancellor’s List and received the Charles R. and Princess H. Jackson Endowed Scholarship, Billy E. and Bettye L. Lazenby Endowed Scholarship, and Raymond Rebsamen Scholarship in Finance. Elizabeth is currently studying for her CFA certification and plans to pursue a master’s degree in accounting and CPA certification, and start a career in wealth management.

Lauren is a Walton Honors Student, a member of Sigma Chi Mu Tau honor society for supply chain management, president of the Arkansas Supply Chain Association, and a member of Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence. She has received the Chancellor's Community Scholarship, Military Dependent Scholarship, Ken and Liz Allen Scholarship, Grant M. Davis Endowed Scholarship, and Brandon Burlsworth Memorial Scholarship. She is green belt certified in Lean 6 Sigma and was a supply chain project team member for the McMillon Innovation Studio. After graduation, Lauren will start a position with Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati as a visualization, automation, and analytics process team leader for the North America transportation operation innovation team. About her time at Walton, Lauren says, "The absolute best part of my experience at the Walton College has been the incredibly passionate and caring faculty- especially those in the Department of Supply Chain Management!"

Indy is completing an economics degree and was named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists every semester of her collegiate career. She is an officer of Beta Gamma Sigma, supplemental instructor for microeconomics, and head delegate of a National Model United Nations Team. She studied abroad in China, Japan, and India, where was a research intern for Children’s Rights and You, and has received the Chancellor’s Scholarship and an Honors College Research Grant. After graduation, Indy will work as a junior business consultant in Little Rock.

Grant is an accounting major and a summa cum laude graduate. He is a Razorback Classic, received the Senior Honor Citation from the Arkansas Alumni Association, attended the Princeton in Beijing program, and won the Fulbright Chinese Speech Contest – Advanced Level. He served as treasurer of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, secretary-treasurer of Inspirational Chorale, and was a founding member and treasurer of Theta Chi Fraternity. After graduation, Grant will work in audit for Ernst & Young in their Rogers office. About his time at Walton, Grant says, "The Walton Honors freshman cohort gave me some of my best friends that lasted through my entire college career."

Zach is completing a double-major in supply chain management and marketing. He is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and served on the financial affairs board for Associated Student Government and the executive board of the Interfraternity Council. He was a 2019 top 12 Homecoming candidate, a Walton Sales Competition finalist, and a National Model United Nations delegate. After graduation, Zach will begin work for PepsiCo-Frito Lay in Dallas. About his time at Walton, Zach says, "I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from such amazing professors and build relationships with other students."

Catherine is president of the Walton Honors Program Student Executive Board, a Walton Honors Program lead peer mentor, and a member of the Dean’s Student Collaboration Board and Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. She was a delegate for National Model United Nations, participated on a McMillon Innovation Studio Project Team, and received the Walton Fellowship, Honors College Research Grant, and Honors College Study Abroad Grant. After completing her information systems degree, Catherine plans to pursue an MBA. About her time at Walton, Catherine says, "The best part of the Walton College is the never-ending support and encouragement from faculty, staff, administration, and most importantly, our peers."

After graduation, Katrina will work for Cerner in Kansas City.

Abby is completing a double-major in information systems and marketing. She is a student scholar in the Department of Information Systems, serves as chief marketing officer of Association for Information Systems, has served as vice president of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. After graduation, Abby will begin a position with IBM as a business transformation consultant on their cloud application services team. About her time at Walton, Abby says, "All the professors in [the information systems] department truly care about their students' success both inside and outside the classroom. I cannot wait to come visit as an alumna and give back to those who have given me so much."

Shanon was named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists every semester of her collegiate career. She was named one of the accounting department’s Outstanding Juniors and received the Education Foundation for Women in Accounting Scholarship, Chancellor’s Community Scholarship, James H. and Sally Stevens Endowed Scholarship, Luther and Edna Estelle Scholarship in Accounting, Jesse W. Cannon Scholarship, Larry and Janett Crain Endowed Scholarship, and James P. Modisette Scholarship. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi honor societies. After graduation, Shanon will be completing the CPA exam and Walton’s Integrated Master of Accountancy program, as well as an internship with Deloitte, for whom she will work post-master’s degree in the audit department of their Minneapolis office. About her time at Walton, Shanon says, "Thank you to all the incredible people at the Walton College - YOU are truly what has made my time here so amazing!"

Adelle is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, National Society of Leadership and Success, Tau Sigma honor society, and Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She has served as a peer mentor, holds the highest cumulative GPA at her sorority, and volunteers at the animal shelter. A transfer student from LSU, she won Razorback tickets from Dean Waller for study tips and techniques during her junior year. After graduation, Adelle will work at her family’s appraisal service business and plans to pursue law school in the future. About her time at Walton, Adelle says, "I love that the teachers here aren't just people who have gone to school for 12+ years; instead they have 12+ years of business experience to share with us about their failures and successes that we are able to learn from."

Madalyn is a member of Arkansas Supply Chain Association and served as vice president of operations and senior advisor for Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence, on the board of Leadership Walton, and as Walton College Student Ambassadors’ lead ambassador. She volunteers at the animal shelter and has studied abroad in Rome. She has interned for J.B. Hunt, Del Monte, and Kellogg’s, attended conferences with the Private Label Manufacturers Association and Global Cold Chain Alliance, and won second place at the Intermodal Association North America Case Competition. After graduation, Madalyn will work as a business management associate with General Mills in Rogers. About her time at Walton, Madalyn says, "The Walton College is filled with amazing professors, staff, and faculty that have helped me along my college journey and acted as amateur life coaches."

Trey is a finance major and studied abroad in Italy. He is a two-time Division 2 intramural flag football champion. After graduation, Trey will work for Transplace as a Lean Six Sigma black belt and pursue a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas.

Paulina is completing a double-major in finance and accounting. She is treasurer of Beta Alpha Psi honor society, director of scholarship and director of funds of Delta Gamma Sorority, and secretary of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting. She was named one of the accounting department’s Outstanding Juniors and 2019 Scholar of the Year by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. She received the Gates Millennium Scholarship, is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Order of Omega honor societies, and participated in Management Leadership for Tomorrow’s Career Prep program. After graduation, Paulina will work as a financial analyst for Citigroup Capital Markets Origination’s investment banking division in New York City.

George completed his finance degree in December. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, received the Arkansas Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship, and was named to the Chancellor’s List. George plans to attend graduate school to pursue an MBA.

Alexis earned a double-major in marketing and finance and graduated magna cum laude with distinction in December. She was named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists, received the Chancellor’s and Chartwell’s scholarships, and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. She volunteered with Gladney Center of Adoption and was a social media intern for Chartwell’s. After graduation, she began a career in real estate with the Mower Group in Portland, Oregon. About her time at Walton, Alexis says, "My Walton College experience was made great through the teachers who pushed me to want to learn and engage in their classroom and made me excited for my future."

Megan completed a double-major in marketing and management and was named to the Chancellor’s List every semester of her collegiate career. She completed internships at The Hershey Company, University of Arkansas Career Development Center, and The Buckle. She was a member of the American Marketing Association consulting team, Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and Leadership Walton, and a notetaker for the Center for Educational Access. Megan has been a category leadership analyst on the Walmart category management team at Nestle’s Rogers office since completing her degree last semester. About her time at Walton, Megan says, "The most valuable class that I took at the University of Arkansas was Marketing Management with Molly Rapert as she brought to life work that transitioned classroom teachings into applicable experiences, that I am currently and will always use in my professional career."

Brent served as operations manager for SAKE, Walton College’s student-run business, and as recruitment chair of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and Leadership Walton and participated in the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation’s Venture Internship Program. He represented the Walton College at the AT&T National Sales Competition. After graduation, Brent will be working at Oracle Netsuite in Austin, Texas, as a business development representative. About his time at Walton Brent says, "My key learning in the Walton College has been to always go above and beyond in everything I do so I can be smarter and better than I was yesterday."

McKenzie is president of Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence, vice president of Chi Omega Psi, and personnel chair of Student Alumni Board. She won the University of Arkansas Extraordinary Women's Award from the Chancellor's Commission on Women and received the Achieving Women's Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management, and Education Scholarship and Elizabeth Carmichael Orman Scholarship. After graduation, McKenzie will start a position with General Mills in Rogers as a business management associate in their sales division. About her time at Walton, McKenzie says, "The main thing I learned from the Walton College is how important it is to invest in others, because so many people invested [in me] during my past 4 years here and I can't imagine where I would be without them."

Lacey is completing both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting within four years while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and will graduate with summa cum laude distinction. She is a Governor’s Distinguished Scholar, Chancellor’s Scholar, and Honors College Ambassador and a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and Leadership Walton. She served as a Walton Honors Peer Mentor and was one of last year’s Outstanding Accounting Students. After graduation, Lacey plans to pass the CPA exam and begin her career with Walmart in their accounting and finance development program. About her time at Walton, Lacey says, "The moment that defined my college career is when I realized that success is not measured by money, material possessions, or even your GPA, but by putting in hard work and dedication and finding happiness and contentment from the outcome."

Katie is an international business major who studied abroad in Japan and Spain. She was named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s List every semester of her collegiate career, served as director of finance for Enactus and is a member of the Walton Honors Program, Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, Leadership Walton, and Delta Delta Delta Sorority. After graduation, Katie will work for IHS Markit in Dallas as a data outsourcing delivery analyst. About her time at Walton, Katie says, "I appreciate how several faculty members went out of their way to answer my questions and get to know me as a student- it made a large school feel like a much smaller community."

Kate served as Panhellenic Delegate for Kappa Delta Sorority and as a peer mentor for the Walton Honors Program. She regularly hosted touring groups of Walton students in business law and economics classes. She was named to the Chancellor’s List and received the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers Foundation national scholarship, awarded at the completion of her internship with Lockton Companies in Dallas, for whom she began working full-time after graduating in December.

Jared is president of Associated Student Government and was the founding president for Theta Chi Fraternity. He is a Brandon Burlsworth Scholar, a National Model United Nations distinguished delegate, and was named a Razorback Classic by the Arkansas Alumni Association. After graduation, Jared will pursue a master’s degree in higher education at the University of Kansas. About his time at Walton, Jared says, "My favorite thing about the Walton College of Business has been the people. My peers have challenged me to be better, encouraged me to do more, and have become some of my closest friends."

Amy received the Transfer Student Scholarship and participated in mentorship programs. She worked full-time while completing her degree. A December graduate, Amy is a branch manager with First Bank of Owasso in Owasso, Oklahoma. About her time at Walton, Amy says, "Because of my education in economics through the Walton College I have been able to follow and comprehend the current economic climate in the US on my own, allowing me to formulate my own opinions rather than accepting without question those around me."

Kate is completing a double-major in finance and accounting. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and received the Chancellor’s Scholarship. Kate is seeking full-time employment opportunities for after graduation.

Lupe completed her undergraduate accounting degree at the Walton College in 2019, graduating magna cum laude. As an undergraduate, she was an Honors College Fellow and a Governor’s Distinguished Scholar and studied abroad in Ireland. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi honor societies. After graduation, Lupe plans to obtain her CPA license and begin work for PricewaterhouseCoopers this fall. About her time at Walton, Lupe says, "Studying at the Walton College of Business introduced me to friendships and professional connections I will hold dear for the rest of my life."

Emma is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, New Greek Council, Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, and Order of Omega honor societies, and New Greek Council, who named her Executive Member of the Year in 2019. She has served as a student assistant in the Dean’s Office, Walton Honors program peer mentor, Greek Life facilitator, team captain for Dance Marathon fundraiser, and on the university’s Headliners’ Committee and Panhellenic Judicial Board. She received the Diamond Jubilee Scholarship from Alpha Omicron Pi, Chancellor’s Community Scholarship, Conway and Margaret George Scholarship, and Panhellenic Leadership Scholarship. After graduation, Emma will intern with Deloitte in their Minneapolis office and then return to Arkansas to complete her Master of Accountancy degree. About her time at Walton, Emma says, "My professors and classmates encouraged and pushed me to realize my potential of becoming a successful leader in business."

Alyson is completing a double major in accounting and information systems. She is president of Leadership Walton and COO of Association for Information Systems, a University of Arkansas Student Ambassador, and a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was a Resident Assistant for three years, marketing team manager for SAKE last year, a project management intern for Orion Global Partners, and studied abroad in Ireland. After graduation, Alyson will work as a project development associate at ISN in Dallas. About her time at Walton, Alyson says, "Walton College has taught me that life truly is what you make of it and that anyone can do anything they set their mind to."

Monica earned a double-major in marketing and supply chain management. She was a member of Arkansas Supply Chain Association and Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Chi Mu Tau honor societies. She served as vice president of senior mentorship for Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence and received the Achieving Women's Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management, and Education Scholarship. After graduating in December, Monica began working as a business management associate for General Mills in Minneapolis. About her time at Walton, Monica says, "My biggest learning was on the importance of getting involved and leaning into all opportunities that come your way."

Sam is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and Sigma Chi Mu Tau honors society for supply chain management. She is a Walton Fellow, a Latino Alumni Scholar, and a Libby Finch Scholar. After graduation, Sam will start a position with Walmart Transportation in Bentonville. About her time at Walton, Sam says, "Walton's best asset is its people; I have gained valuable insights from faculty and peers that developed my education and character during these past 4 years."

Zac is completing a double-major in economics and Arabic. He studied abroad at American University of Sharjah in United Arab Emirates, American University in Cairo, Egypt and in Morocco, Vietnam, Mozambique, and India, and interned at the United States Agency for International Development. He received the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship, U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship, and Honors College Fellowship and was last year’s Presidential Scholar. Zac has been selected for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship and as a Silver Scholar at the Yale School of Management, where he will be pursuing an MBA with a concentration in social enterprise. About his time at Walton, Zac says, "One of my key learning experiences at the Walton College was studying abroad with Dr. Vikas Anand and Dr. Rogelio Contreras-Garcia and learning about India's international and domestic business environment."

James has repeatedly been named to both the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists. He is a recipient of the New Arkansan Non-resident Tuition Award. After graduation, James will attend Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. About his time at Walton, James says, "Beyond the typical business school curriculum, Walton College of Business taught me how to be a leader."

Ethan has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s List. He is a member of the Walton College Finance Association, Walton College Investment/Trading Association, and University of Arkansas Bass Fishing Team. After graduation, Ethan will work for Murphy USA in their analyst development program. About his time at Walton, Ethan says, "Dr. Rennie's Portfolio Management class provided me with real world experience I look forward to implementing as I begin my career."

Alexis is completing a double-major in management and marketing and is a member of the University of Arkansas Pom Squad, Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and Kappa Delta Sorority. She participates in the Walton Honors program, is a two-time winner of Walton’s Sales Competition, and was part of a finalist team in the AT&T National Sales Competition. After graduation, Alexis will be an account executive for Goosehead Insurance in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. About her time at Walton, Alexis says, "My favorite memories at the Walton College are both times I got to compete in the on-campus sales competition. It really helped me to decide what I wanted to do as a career and was an incredible networking opportunity."

Allison is completing a double-major in international business and Spanish. She is co-president of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and treasurer of the Faith and Spirituality Center. She received the prestigious Bodenhamer Fellowship and the Honors College Study Abroad Grant, Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality Research Grant, and Delta Delta Delta Alumnae Chapter Scholarship. After graduation, Allison will be completing the full-time MBA program at the Walton College with a focus in marketing.

Lindsey is completing a double-major in marketing and supply chain management. She works for Modthink Marketing as a content management strategist, has completed a business development internship at Kraft Heinz, and won the RB Professional Outperformance Challege. She is a member of Leadership Walton, Sigma Chi Mu Tau honor society, Arkansas Supply Chain Association, Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence, and Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She is a Walton Student Ambassador, has studied abroad in Rome, and volunteers at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter and for Mew Cat Rescue. After graduation, Lindsey will work in Procter & Gamble’s Fayetteville office as a retail supply planner on the supply network operations team. About her time at Walton, Lindsey says, "The Walton College has provided me with opportunities beyond my expectations. My experience in the college of business has been even more impactful than I could have imagined."

Jeremy has been named to the Chancellor’s List every semester of his collegiate career. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, Leadership Walton, Walton Finance Association, Investing Club, and Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is a four-time recipient of Kappa Sigma’s Scholarship Leadership Award and has received the Risk Management Association Scholarship, Ethel Harper Phillips Scholarship, Robert Clifton Robinson Memorial Scholarship, Billy E. and Bettye L. Lazenby Endowed Scholarship, and John Dominick Endowed Scholarship. After graduation, Jeremy will work as a credit analyst for Texas Capital Bank in Dallas.

He received the Chancellor’s Scholarship and served as vice president of finance for the Interfraternity Council. After graduation, John will attend graduate school at the University of Arkansas. About his time at Walton, John says, "The Walton College has provided me with a solid foundation of knowledge about finance and accounting on which to launch my career."

Emily plays clarinet in the Razorback Marching Band. She is a member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority and Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She received the Major Greek Award and previously interned at Saatchi & Saatchi X on the Procter & Gamble account. She currently interns for Walmart.com, managing the Hain Celestial portfolio. As a student in Walton’s Accelerated MBA program, Emily will continue pursuing her MBA after completing her undergraduate degree. About her time at Walton, Emily says, "The Walton staff were incredibly invested in my success and helped me create a personalized educational experience and enter into my dream career path."

She completed a two-year social media and marketing internship with Chartwell’s campus dining services, where she designed the “Food on the Hill” logo.
