Student Bios

Parker is completing a finance major and was an analyst for the Rebsamen Trust. He has served as vice president and treasurer of Lambda Chi Alpha, among other leadership positions. He has started various mentorship groups and initiatives in the community and founded a freelance tutoring service for Walton College students. After graduation, Parker will work for KeyBank Real Estate Capital as a financial and investment analyst.

Kaitlyn has been named to the Chancellor’s List and received the Presidential Community Service Award for completing over 175 service hours in one calendar year. She served as vice president of operations for Kappa Delta and vice president of membership for National Society of Collegiate Scholars and volunteered regularly at the Jane B. Gearhart Food Pantry on campus. After graduation, Kaitlyn will begin working for a physician with plans to attend medical school in 2022. About her time at Walton, Kaitlyn says, “Walton College of Business prepared me to succeed in the professional world and introduced me to people who have now become some of my closest friends.”

Leah is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a master’s degree in accounting and becoming a certified public accountant.

Erica will continue in her position as director of Information Services with ArcBest Technologies. She plans to apply the knowledge she has learned in the Walton EMBA program in her current and future roles. About her time at Walton, Erica says, “While we haven't been able to be together since the pandemic, I still value those relationships we built and the times we were on campus together.”

Julie served as president of Beta Alpha Psi and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. She received a graduate assistantship and the ARCPA Scholarship and was previously named one of the accounting department’s outstanding undergraduate students. After graduation, Julie will work for Walmart in global audit services while studying for the CPA exam. About her time at Walton, Julie says, “The professors at the Walton College have poured so much into both our educations and into our future professional careers. Thank you for everything!”

Anna is completing an accounting major and received an Honors College Extended Research Travel Grant. She had a community development internship in Belize and an internship with Simmons Bank. She is a Fellowship Fayetteville college leader and a member of Kappa Delta and Leadership Walton. Anna is part of the Accelerated MBA program at Walton and will complete the program in May. About her time at Walton, Anna says, “My favorite memory is spending eight weeks in Belize with nine other Walton students.”

Addison is completing an international business major. She is a recipient of the Chancellor’s Community and Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarships and was selected for the Major Greek and Outstanding Executive Board Member Awards. She has served as president of Order of Omega, director of athletics for Associated Student Government, treasurer of the Razorback Foundation Collegiate Board, community events chair of the Walton Honors Student Executive Board, president of Greek Life Facilitators, and director of member finances for Delta Delta Delta and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. After graduation, Addison will attend law school at Washington University in Saint Louis.

Ruben is a member of Sigma Chi Mu Tau honor society and received the John Ozment Outstanding Junior Award and the Outstanding Spanish Conversation Volunteer Award. He served as vice president of finance for the Arkansas Supply Chain Association and treasurer of the Panamanian Student Organization and was part of the PAPSS Pathways Mentoring Program. He interned for Supplypike locally and Copa Airlines in Panama. After graduation, Ruben plans to attend graduate school.

Robyn is completing a finance major. She has been involved with the Supplemental Instruction Program on campus for five semesters, as an SI leader, mentor, and a lead mentor. She is a member of the Walton Honors Program and Beta Gamma Sigma honors society. After graduation, Robyn plans to attend law school.

Cole is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, the Student Finance Association, and the Investment Club and plays on the university’s men’s soccer club team. He competed in the Stephens Inc. Equity Research Competition and has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists. After graduation, Cole will work for Stephens Inc. as an equity research associate.

Montinique serves as the director of hair for Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week, now known as Interform. She is a mom and a small business owner. After graduation, Montinique is entering the professional development program at Transplace while continuing to run her small business and is considering graduate school in the future. About her time at Walton, Montinique says, “A key learning experience for me at the Walton College is the importance of forming a community, with professors and students alike.”

Ryan is completing a double major in accounting and finance. He was named a Senior of Significance by the Arkansas Alumni Association and was previously selected as one of the accounting department's Outstanding Juniors. He is a recipient of the Chancellor's Community Scholarship and Florence K. McKee Scholarship, is a two-time first-place winner of the RZRblock Hackathon, and won second place in the Beta Alpha Psi International Best Practices competition. He is vice president of Beta Alpha Psi, previously served as an officer of the Investment Club and the Walton Honors Student Executive Board, and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Leadership Walton, and Lambda Pi Eta. He has interned with Walmart and PwC, written for the Walton Insights blog, and worked as a tutor and host of the Walton Biz Talk podcast for the Business Communication Lab. After graduation, Ryan will work as an internal auditor in Walmart’s Global Audit Services department. About his time at Walton, Ryan says, “I am thankful for the mentorship I've received from faculty, staff, and other students at the Walton College that has inspired me to be better every day.”

Tanner works as a server at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse in addition to his studies. He is exploring analyst opportunities in the tech industry for after graduation. About his time at Walton, Tanner says, “The best moment for me at Walton was the moment I found my passion for analytics and information systems. Thank you Professor Nolan!”

Sydney is completing a double major in retail and finance. She is a recipient of the University of Arkansas Leadership, Arkansas Cooperative Education Program in Business, and University of Arkansas Office of Study Abroad Scholarships and served on the fundraising committee board for the American Marketing Association. She previously interned with La Mamba Fashion and is currently an intern at The Hershey Company, where she will continue her career as a category analyst after graduation. About her time at Walton, Sydney says, “Strive to achieve your own definition of success rather than simply following in the path of your peers.”

Angelina is completing a supply chain management major. She has served in the United States Marine Corps and was awarded the GI Bill for her education. After graduation, Angelina will move to Detroit to pursue a career in supply chain and logistics in the automotive industry.

Natalie is completing a double major in supply chain management and finance. She served as president of Women Impacting Supply Excellence and payroll coordinator for Delta Delta Delta. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Chi Mu Tau honor societies and Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. She was a recipient of the John Ozment Outstanding Junior Award and Major Greeks Award and was selected as an AWESOME scholar. After graduation, Natalie will work for Lockheed Martin as a subcontractor administrator associate. About her time at Walton, Natalie says, “Never underestimate the power of networking and getting to know your fellow students and professors.”

Natalie served as operations manager for SAKE. She also served as honor chairman on the executive board for Phi Mu. After graduation, Natalie is exploring full-time employment opportunities in Houston.

Kyle completed his finance major in December. He graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. He served as vice president of Theta Chi and on the Program Allocations Board. He is working as a financial advisor for Equitable Advisors in Kansas City.

Katie is completing a triple major in economics, information systems, and management. She has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists every semester of her collegiate career and won an honors extended travel grant and the Mayor’s Community Service Award. She has served as a project manager for Enactus and a tutor and mentor for Potter’s House Academy. She currently coaches kids’ mixed martial arts and interns for Colgate-Palmolive. After graduation, Katie will start Walton College’s Master of Science in Economic Analytics program. About her time at Walton, Katie says, “Thank[s] to the example of the Walton staff and my professors, I have learned to go above and beyond in everything I do, especially in the face of adversity.”

Sophia is an information systems major and serves as president of the Walton Honors Student Executive Board, a resident assistant at Humphreys Hall, and a student assistant for the Walton Honors Program. She previously served as a lead peer mentor for honors freshmen, a student ambassador, and a summer orientation leader. This summer, Sophia will be an information technology intern for Koch Industries in Wichita, Kansas.

John serves as secretary of the university’s Fly Fishing Club, a YoungLife leader and a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. He has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists and passed the CFA Level I exam, scoring in the top ten percent of candidates globally. After graduation, John will work as a global markets analyst for Bank of Montreal in New York and plans to attain CFA charter status and a master’s in financial engineering in the future.

Adrian has received the Ethel Harper Phillips and Transfer Scholarships and has been named to the Chancellor’s List for seven semesters. He has served as a Behavioral Business Research Lab assistant, a tutor for the Athletic Department, and a volunteer basketball coach for the Boys & Girls Club. He provided the winning creative marketing brief in the Integrated Marketing Communications course and managed a fixed-income portfolio in the Fixed Income Securities class. After graduation, Adrian will continue his education at the University of Arkansas School of Law.

Ryan is completing an accounting major. He is graduating summa cum laude and was previously named one of the accounting department’s Outstanding Juniors. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi. After graduation, Ryan will work for Walmart as an analyst in their accounting and finance development program.

Balaji is an IT professional with 24 years of work experience across the globe. He enjoys reading non-fiction books on a wide range of subjects and is interested in AI bias and hoping to build expertise in this sub field in the future. After graduation, Balaji will continue working for Tata Consultancy Services. About his time at Walton, Balaji says, “This program made me aware of my ignorance and created a passion for lifelong learning.”

Cedric has been named to the Chancellor’s List. He is the past president of NWA Horses for Healing, received the Dr. William Linfoot Equestrian Polo Award, and is a member of the NWA Polo Club and the U.S. Polo Association. After graduation, Cedric plans to continue his education with Walton’s Executive MBA program. About his time at Walton, Cedric says, “My studies in the Walton College of Business program have been an incredible experience. In addition to the extraordinary academic learning, the fully virtual engagement with faculty, colleagues, and administration has enhanced my abilities to leverage the virtual environment that is becoming more common in today’s globalized society.”

AJ is a co-founder of UARK MP3 and a member of Sigma Nu, Beta Alpha Psi, Investment Club, and the Fly Fishing Club. He is part of the Walton Honors Program, interned with Tyson Foods, and was elected portfolio manager for the Shollmier Fund for two consecutive semesters. After graduation, A.J. will work as a research associate for Stephens Inc. A.J. says he will forever be grateful for his time at the University of Arkansas and the Walton College, especially for “the Shollmier Fund and the teachings of Dr. Craig G. Rennie.”

Austin is completing a finance major. He was named to the Chancellor’s List for his entire collegiate career and is a recipient of the John Dominick Endowed and George and Charlene Edwards Honors College International Experience scholarships and the University of Arkansas Leadership Award. He worked for University Recreation his final two years of college. After graduation, Austin plans to attend law school to study business law or international law. About his time at Walton, Austin says, “The best the experience I had through Walton was the ability to study abroad in Africa because it impacted me greatly and created many lifelong friendships along the way.”

Sampras is completing a double major in finance and information systems. He is an honors student, National Merit Scholar, and Governor’s Distinguished Scholar and received the Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship. He served as president of the Finance Club, president of the Real Estate Club, and as a volunteer counselor at Arkansas Boys State. He is a real estate agent and an avid mountain biker and loves real estate investing. After graduation, Sampras will work for Walmart in their Accounting and Finance Development Program. About his time at Walton, Sampras says, “I loved all of Dr. Rennie’s classes,” and that he learned “no one person holds the whole truth, that’s why you should get to know everyone.”

Mariana is completing an accounting major. She is a recipient of the New Arkansan Non-resident Tuition Award and the Latino Alumni Association and Silas Hunt Distinguished scholarships. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and Beta Gamma Sigma. After graduation, Mariana will continue her education in the Master of Accountancy program at Walton College. About her undergraduate time at Walton, Mariana says, “Walton has provided me so many opportunities, some I had to work for, but the door was always opened by the Walton College.”

Caleb is a recipient of the New Arkansan Non-Resident Tuition Award and the Alexander Dixon and Martha R. Whitehead Trust Scholarship and has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s List every semester of his collegiate career. He has been named as a Senior of Significance by the Arkansas Alumni Association, is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, and plays on the university’s men’s soccer club team. After graduation, Caleb will be a fellow in the Olin Pre-Doctoral Research Fellows program at Washington University in Saint Louis and plans to continue his studies in economics upon completion of the program. About his time at Walton, Caleb says, “My best moment at Walton College was taking Microeconomics with Braxton Gately. It was the first step toward my pursuit of being an economist and receiving this award.”

Claudia is a Governor’s Distinguished Scholar and a recipient of the Chancellor’s Scholarship. She has been named to the Chancellor’s List every semester for three years and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. She has served as vice president of administration for the Student Society of Management Education and on the hospitality team of Baptist Collegiate Ministry. After graduation, Claudia hopes to work at either a church or a non-profit organization.

Pearce is a Governor’s Distinguished Scholar and was named to the Dean’s List. He is president of the Uark Film Club and an anchor for Razorback Reels. After graduation, Pearce is exploring full-time employment opportunities.

Kirsten has served as president of Leadership Walton, president of the Razorback Booster Club, director of member conduct for Pi Beta Phi, vice chair of the Distinguished Lectures Committee, on the Associated Student Government Financial Affairs Board, and as a Walton Ambassador. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, has been named as a Senior of Significance by the Arkansas Alumni Association, and won the Doyle Z. Williams Student Leadership Award. After graduation, Kirsten will work as a business management associate for General Mills in Rogers. About her time at Walton, Kirsten says, “The best moment I have had at the Walton College is when I attended PLMA in Chicago, IL, through Leadership Walton. It was such an amazing experience and one of the highlights from my undergraduate career!”

Olivia is a graduate assistant for the supply chain management department and is a member of the Arkansas Supply Chain Association. After graduation, Olivia will be working in Northwest Arkansas. She says her best moment at Walton was “interacting with and learning from my classmates in the MS Supply Chain Management Program. They have a lot of industry knowledge that has provided interesting insights into all sectors of supply chain management.”

Allison is completing a double major in finance and accounting, has been named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists and is graduating magna cum laude. She has served as assistant new member educator and on the finance committee for Kappa Kappa Gamma, on the Student Alumni board, and as a classroom volunteer at Washington Elementary. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and the Honors Business Society and is a recipient of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, Razorback Generations, and Phillips 66 Accounting scholarships. After graduating with her Master of Professional Accounting and finance degrees, Allison will work as a business tax associate for KPMG LLC in Dallas.

Kyle completed his undergraduate degree in finance magna cum laude in 2020. He was named to the Chancellor’s List and received the Chancellor’s and Governor’s Distinguished Scholarships. He was part of the Walton Honors Program and completed a senior thesis, entitled “Making Better Bettors: The Power of Data and Technology for Sports Wagering in the 21st Century.” After graduating with his master of science degree, Kyle will be taking the SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 exams to pursue a career as a wealth advisor, sponsored by Gadberry Financial Group. About his time at Walton, Kyle says, “The opportunity to work as part of the Arkansas Capital Scan team has presented me with my most unique learning experience- one in which I will always cherish!”

Shanon is completing the Integrated Master of Accountancy program. She is a recipient of the PCAOB and EFWA scholarships, along with accounting department scholarships. She was selected for a graduate assistantship and completed her undergraduate coursework summa cum laude. After graduation, she will work for Deloitte in Minneapolis.

Megan is completing a double major in marketing and finance. She served as vice president of University of Arkansas Club Volleyball and treasurer of the Real Estate Club and is a member of the Investment Club and Beta Gamma Sigma. She has consistently been named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists since 2017. After graduation, Megan will be working in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Austin is completing an accounting major. He has consistently been named to the Dean’s List since 2016 and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. After graduation, Austin will join the audit staff at Ernst & Young in Fort Worth.

Samuel is completing a double major in management and information systems. He is a National Merit Scholar, Bodenhamer Fellow, and Eagle Scout and was named as a Senior of Significance by the Arkansas Alumni Association. He received the Distinguished Governor’s Scholarship and served as head tutor for the Business Communication Lab, webmaster for Associated Student Government, and project leader for VAC Make a Difference Day. He participated in National Model United Nations, Honors Passport Pilgrimage, and the Japan Study Abroad Program. After graduation, Samuel will work as a senior human resources assistant for Amazon in Kenosha, Wisconsin. About his time at Walton, Samuel says, “I've absolutely loved my work at the Business Communication Lab; it's been a joy to do everything I can to help other students become more confident speakers and writers.”

Olivia served as new member coordinator for Pi Beta Phi and received the New Arkansan Non-Resident Tuition Award. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Order of Omega, and Leadership Walton and has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists. After graduation, Olivia will work for Insight Global in Dallas. About her time at Walton, Olivia says, “My favorite part of the Walton College was the memories made in the classroom with peers and professors who encouraged me to always have a passion for learning.”

Sydney completed her degree in December and was named to the Dean’s List. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and served as a volunteer at 7Hills Homeless Center. Sydney is currently working in marketing for American Baseball Camps. About her time at Walton, Sydney says, “The best moments I had were when I saw firsthand how invested and how above and beyond the professors at Walton College go in helping students achieve their goals.”

Cat is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and will be graduating summa cum laude. She was a Resident Assistant at Hotz Hall and served as a Tyson Community Intern at the Havenwood non-profit organization in Bentonville. She also regularly volunteered with her church’s college ministry and a local nursing home. Following graduation, she plans on staying in Fayetteville to pursue a career in the marketing field. About her time at Walton, Cat says, “One of my favorite professors taught me the value of stopping to say 'thank you' to everyone who has contributed to my life either personally or professionally and regardless of where I land, I always want to be grateful to those who have sacrificed their time and resources to help me.”

Madison completed a double major in marketing and management in December. She was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Sigma Alpha Pi, and Zeta Tau Alpha, where she held several leadership positions. She was named to the Dean’s List and received the Lottery and Leadership Scholarships. She works as a category analyst for McCormick and Company in their Rogers office. About her time at Walton, Madison says, “My favorite thing about the Walton College of Business is the opportunities it provides its students. I was honored to be selected for a Study Abroad trip in Rome, Italy where I had the amazing opportunity to further my education in Marketing in one of the most historical and beautiful places in the world.”

Ryan is completing a double major in finance and accounting. He has served as chairman of the Dean's Student Collaboration Board, portfolio manager for the Rebsamen Trust, and treasurer for both Sigma Chi and Beta Gamma Sigma. He was awarded an Honors College research grant, named as a Senior of Significance by the Arkansas Alumni Association, and interned for Senator Tom Cotton and JP Morgan Private Bank. After graduation, Ryan will work as an investment banking analyst for Stephens Inc. Ryan says, “Reflecting on my time in Walton, I'm reminded of a timeless quote by none other than Winnie the Pooh, ‘How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard’ - it's the people of Walton that create that something for so many, and I am forever grateful to be a part of it.”

Allie is completing a double major in marketing and supply chain management. She served as social media chair for the Walton Honors Student Executive Board and administration director for Kappa Kappa Gamma, for whom she was a two-time Major Greek Award representative. She is a recipient of the Dorothy Pecot Norwood Scholarship and an Honors College State Undergraduate Research Fellowship, is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and studied abroad in Rome. After graduation, she will continue Walton’s Accelerated MBA Program, which she plans to complete in December 2022, and will intern with Saatchi & Saatchi X. About her time at the Walton College, Allie says, “The individuals I have formed friendships with through Walton each have an equivalent amount of perseverance, grit and tenacity that was demonstrated through our constant study sessions that lasted til' 2 am these past 4 years. (Favorite memory was how we always waited until the classical music started playing in Mullins to leave, especially for BLAW tests ;))”

Aaron is completing a double major in finance and accounting. He is part of the Walton Honors Program, has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists, and represented the University of Arkansas’ Student Managed Funds at the GAME X international portfolio conference. After graduation, Aaron plans to pursue a career in financial services and to develop quantitative trading systems after further study in computer science and business analytics.

Emily is completing a double major in supply chain management and information systems. She served as campus activity director assistant and major mentor for Chi Omega, vice president of special events and secretary for the Razorback Foundation Collegiate Board, director of alumni relations for Women Impacting Supply Excellence, and as a mentor and tutor for Potter’s House Academy and ID. She is a member of Sigma Chi Mu Tau, was named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists, and interned for Kimberly-Clark. After graduation, Emily will work for Kimberly-Clark in Rogers on the Walmart and Sam’s Club supply chain team.

Robert is completing a finance major. He is a member of Beta Upsilon Chi and Beta Gamma Sigma, volunteers at New Life Church, and is a recipient of the Ethel Harper Phillips Scholarship. He is an avid painter currently represented by a Colorado art gallery and also runs a small business. Robert is interning with SupplyPike and has accepted a full-time offer with them upon completion of his degree. About his time at Walton, Robert says, “It is so, so important to see our work as an opportunity rather than a requirement.”

Jorge is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. He previously won the INEG Graduate Teaching Assistant of the Year Award from Washington University and received the Elizabeth Gray Danforth Scholarship and Board of Trustees Scholarship. After graduation, Jorge is seeking employment in Northwest Arkansas.

Torey is completing an international business major. He serves as lead for Walton College Ambassadors, senior advisor for Women Impacting Supply Excellence, and was a founding member of Future Women Business Leaders. He was the commercialization manager for SAKE, interned at General Mills and Kellogg’s, and attended the Nestle Diversity Leadership Symposium and Private Label Manufacturers Association. He has worked for the university as a supplemental instruction leader, new student orientation mentor, and in the Business Living Learning Community. After graduation, Torey will work for General Mills as a business management associate in Rogers. About his time at Walton, Torey says, “My time as a Walton College student has taught me to embrace your moments of adversity and not run away from them, as they serve as some of the best learning experiences about yourself and life that you can have.”

Carolyn is completing a double major in economics and finance. She has served as co-president of Beta Gamma Sigma, vice president of the Walton Honors Student Executive Board, and ring chair for the Student Alumni Board and received the Beta Gamma Sigma Award. She studied abroad in Japan and attended the Model United Nations Conference in Germany. After graduation, Carolyn will work for Colgate-Palmolive as a customer management analyst.

Madison is completing a double major in accounting and finance. She is part of the Walton Honors Program, a member of Chi Omega sorority, an officer of Beta Alpha Psi, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a volunteer in NWA area, and been on the Chancellor’s List for the past four years. She has interned for Phillips 66 and Deloitte, with whom she has accepted a full-time employment offer. In addition to beginning work with Deloitte, Madison plans to sit for the CPA exam after graduation.

Mary Claire completed her finance degree in December. She served as a major mentor for Chi Omega and was a member of the Pre-Law Society and Real Estate Club. She volunteered with the Student Alumni Association, Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the Boys & Girls Club. Mary Claire plans to attend the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in the fall. About her time at Walton, she says, “A few of my professors at Walton College quickly became my mentors and have helped guide me through the past few years of life as well as helped me make the decision to attend law school. I would not be where I am today without them.”

Ankush is a recipient of the Chancellor’s Scholarship and the Phillips 66 Accounting Scholarship and won the Volunteer Action Center Mayoral Award. He is a member of the Uark Climbing Club and Beta Gamma Sigma and has served as a Yvonne Richardson Community Center volunteer and a Camp Aldersgate counselor. After graduation, Ankush will attend graduate school at Vanderbilt University.

Alexis has served as president of Arkansas Supply Chain Association, on the S.E.A.L. Team for LatinXNA, and is a member of Network of Executive Women. She is a recipient of the Razorback Bridge and Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarships and has interned for The Fishin’ Company, Kellogg’s, and Nestle. Alexis already has started a full-time position as an account coordinator for The Fishin’ Company and will continue there after graduation. About her time at Walton, Alexis says, “One thing I learned about Walton College is its deep desire to help students succeed. Without Walton College, I would not have had the unique opportunities and rich experiences that will benefit me greatly as I move into my career.”

Juliann is part of the Walton Honors Program and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Delta Pi honor societies. She is a recipient of the New Arkansan Non-Resident Tuition Award and the Florence K. McKee Scholarship, a member of Alpha Delta Pi, and served as a supplemental instructor for honors sections of Principles of Macroeconomics and Principles of Microeconomics courses. After graduation, Juliann will pursue her master’s degree in agricultural economics and rural development at the University of Arkansas, where she has been selected for a graduate assistantship. About her time at Walton, Juliann says, “The Walton College allowed me the opportunity to study abroad in Mozambique, Spain, and Germany. I learned so much in my time abroad and I cannot wait to continue that in graduate school.”

Wyatt is a member of the University of Arkansas Marching Band, served as president of the Student Society of Management Education and president of Alpha Kappa Psi, and received the Alpha Kappa Psi Distinguished Service Award. He is a recipient of the Arkansas Cooperative Education Program in Business and Pre-Law Society Scholarships. He was selected as an Outstanding Leadership Panelist by SOOIE and interned for Rausch Coleman Homes and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives. After graduation, Wyatt will work as an internal auditor in the Global Audit Division at Walmart and plans to attend law school in the future.

She was selected as a Capitaf Scholar and won the Outstanding Delegate and Distinguished Paper Awards at the Model United Nations Conference in Germany. She is the recipient of the Tolleson Family Endowed, Honors College International, Margaret F. Schamer, Ethel Harper Phillips, and G. David and Jane B. Gearhart scholarships. She served as director of programming for Chi Omega and is a member of the Investment Club, Future Women Business Leaders, and Economic Forum. After graduation, Hannah will work as a financial analyst with Phillips 66 in Houston. She says her best moment at Walton was “giving a speech about safeguards and verification on nuclear energy to the president of Germany at the National Model United Nations Conference.”

MaryJohn serves as a mentor for Springdale High School students. She tutored two MBA classes and previously served on the MBA Student Advisory Board. She enjoys tennis and the outdoors. After graduation, MaryJohn will work for NielsenIQ as an associate client manager. About her time at Walton, MaryJohn says, “The key learning that I’ve taken away from my time at the Walton College is that you never stop learning. Graduating is just the beginning of your learning adventure!”

Samantha is completing a double major in marketing and finance. She is a recipient of the Arkansas Academic Challenge, Arkansas Alumni License Plate, Sue Darby Gaston, Betty Clark Banking, and Nucor Scholarships. She served as vice president of finance and special events coordinator for Kappa Kappa Gamma. She was also a member of the Mental Health Awareness Club and the Real Estate Club. After graduation, Samantha will work as a customer development associate for Kimberly Clark in Neenah, WI. About her time at Walton, Samantha says, “My best moment in the Walton College was when I was studying abroad in Ireland with the most amazing professors and meeting the most amazing people.”

Julia is a recipient of the Cherokee Nation, Brandon Burlsworth Memorial, Honors College Academy, Arkansas Academic Challenge, Pi Beta Phi, Margaret Hoffman, Cecil & Becky Powers Memorial, Lazenby Endowed, and Henry D. and Virginia L. Powell scholarships. She has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists for seven semesters, an Arkansas Alumni Association Senior of Significance, and University of Arkansas’ Major Greek. She served as co-president of Beta Gamma Sigma honors society, vice president of membership of Pi Beta Phi, Greek Life Campus Relations Coordinator, and vice president of Homecoming in 2019. She interned with Walmart Global Audit and Deloitte and Touche. After graduation, she will complete a Master of Professional Accounting at the Walton College and then work as an audit associate with Deloitte and Touche in Dallas. About her time at Walton, Julia says, “My best memory at the Walton College was walking into Dr. Norwood's Principles of Accounting I class and sitting down knowing that this was exactly where I needed to be in order to start my future career in accounting.”

Joe is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. He did his medical residency at the University of Rochester, where he received several awards for being an exemplary resident. Prior to his residency, he attended medical school at UAMS, where he received numerous scholarships and did his undergraduate work at the University of Arkansas, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi and received multiple scholarships and awards. He enjoys skiing, the beach, and spending time with friends and his wife and three children – one who is currently attending the University of Arkansas at the same time as her dad. After graduation, Joe will continue in his current role with SCP Health, a company that staffs and regulates quality for emergency and hospitalist programs nationally. About his time at Walton, Joe says, “Going back to school at the age of 46 and realizing how much joy and satisfaction can be gained through continuing to learn and transform yourself as you get older has been life-changing.”

Lexie is a recipient of the Colvin G. Norwood Scholarship, the Center for Community Engagement Award, and an Honors College study abroad grant. She was a top 12 Homecoming Queen Candidate, studied abroad in Italy, and is part of the Walton Honors Program. She has served as vice president of membership for Order of Omega, supplemental instructor for Accounting I, Make a Difference Day Project Leader, a Panhellenic Recruitment Counselor, and as a Student Ambassador for both Walton College and the University of Arkansas. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority, Beta Gamma Sigma, and the Shotgun Sports Club Team. After graduation, Lexie will continue her education at the University of Arkansas School of Law.

She is a recipient of the Conway and Margaret George and Robert Clifton Robinson Memorial Scholarships, was previously selected as an accounting department Outstanding Junior, and served on the Zeta Tau Alpha executive council. After graduation, Victoria will start the Master of Accountancy program at Saint Leo University in Florida. About her time at Walton, Victoria says, “The best part of being in the Walton College is how tight-knit the Honors Program is, and how many friends I have been able to make over the years.”

She has interned for Tyson Foods and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi. After graduation, Laura will pursue an MBA degree.

Olivia is a four-year member of the Razorback Pom Squad and has been selected for numerous pom squad awards. She has served as programming chair for EVERY Hog, vice president of marketing for Student Society of Management, and head of the student-athlete active allies committee for Hogs UNITED. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi and has been named to the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists. After graduation, Olivia plans to begin her career in NWA or Dallas. About her time at Walton, Olivia says, “My former professor, Flint Harris, has been one of the most influential figures in college for me. He prepared me for so many trials in my life, business and personal, that I could confidently face with the knowledge and skills he taught me.”

Brian earned his undergraduate degree in information systems from Walton in 2008 and worked as a systems analyst for Data-Tronics in Fort Smith. While expecting his second daughter, he returned to Northwest Arkansas to work as a programmer analyst with Walmart’s IT group for seven years before joining the Walton College as its systems administrator and starting the Professional MIS program. He received the Staff Senate Scholarship and Certificate of Appreciation. In the future, he will continue to grow in his current position as part of Walton’s Enterprise Systems team and would like to teach here as well. Brian says, “I could not ask for more support and guidance from not just my technology team co-workers, but also from all of the faculty and staff members who encouraged me to do my best…The Walton College is an incredible place to work for and to learn from. Now that I am here, would not leave it for the world!”

Grant is completing a finance major. He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, and the Portfolio Management Class. He has been named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists every semester of his collegiate career and is a recipient of the University Academic and Ethel Harper Phillips scholarships and the New Arkansan Non-resident Tuition Award. Grant is currently in the interview process with several companies for post-graduation employment. About his time at Walton, Grant says, “The best part of the Walton College for me was the students and faculty that make it such a great college to be a part of.”

Lizzy is the vice president of operations for the Student Society of Management Education. She has also served as a CAPS Ambassador for the Pat Walker Health Center on campus. After graduation, Lizzy plans to work in the human resources field.

Hayden completed his accounting degree in December. He was consistently named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists and received the Koch Discovery Day Scholarship. He served as accounting director of Arkansas Dance Marathon and on the service team for Goodness Village in Little Rock. Hayden received multiple scholarships to continue his education in the accounting master’s program at University of Central Arkansas and plans to work in public accounting. About his time at Walton, Hayden says, “You're bound to forget a lot of what you heard in cost accounting, but remember that you can use a fork as a spoon if you use it rapidly enough.”

Mason is completing an accounting major. He serves as secretary of Beta Gamma Sigma and has consistently been named to the Chancellor’s List. He won the Vice Chancellor’s Trophy, the United States Automobile Association Spirit Award, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart National Leadership Award. He is the recipient of the Governor’s Distinguished, Chancellor’s, and Air Force ROTC scholarships and was selected for a graduate assistantship. After graduation, Mason will be commissioned in the U.S. Air Force as a second lieutenant and will work as a finance officer. Mason says his best moment at Walton was “winning Kahoot in Professor Thomas' Fundamentals of Taxation class. Competition was fierce and I was happy to win.”
