Faculty-led study abroad programs expose Walton College students to international business realities, preparing them to work and succeed in a global economy.
Barcelona
Global Changemakers Barcelona is a one-of-a-kind faculty-led study abroad course that explores selected global challenges through engagement with the agencies working to address them in international settings.
CIMBA Italy
CIMBA Italy Programs offer semester and summer programs in Italy for undergraduate students. Courses are available in business, economics, leadership, communication studies, beginning Italian and engineering. Students receive American credit from the top-ranked University of Iowa Tippie College of Business (AACSB) for courses completed as part of this program.
International Accounting Seminar in Rome
The International Accounting Seminar program builds understanding and competence as it relates to the history of accounting, the global accounting profession, and the business and cultural environment in Italy. Students will explore accounting and auditing concepts in an international environment.
Ireland
The study abroad program will provide students with insights into Irish culture and history as well as international business and the economic environment in the European Union.
Madrid
In this course, students will investigate business culture and communication, in Madrid, Spain, to examine how people from different backgrounds can and do work harmoniously together.
Panama
The International Business Seminar in Panama will provide students with the vast knowledge of global business through foreign investments. Learn how Panama is attracting businesses from all over the world to invest in their infrastructure projects and help stabilize their economic growth.
Business of Marketing in Italy (January Intersession)
The Business of Marketing in Rome is designed so that students experience Rome and Italy through the eyes of Marketing professionals with a focus on tourism. Each intersession study abroad trip will focus on one aspect of Rome and Roman culture.
Ghana
The International Business Seminar in Ghana is designed to expose students to the many business opportunities of one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. Students will take part in business lectures and interact with prominent businesses in the country.
Innovation Immersion in Rome
The Innovation Immersion in Rome program is designed to build on the learnings and work in previous courses (Corporate Innovation I and II) where human centered design and product management skills were acquired. In this immersion experience, students will travel to various places in Italy to engage in design sprint sessions at prominent Italians organizations.
Japan
The International Business Seminar in Japan will give students first-hand experience of the Japanese economic system. Students will tour many of Japan's foremost manufacturing facilities gaining knowledge of the different production and management techniques. The class will impart the students with a fuller understanding of the significance that they play on the Japanese style of business.
Marketing in Rome (Summer II Session)
Marketing in Rome: Students earn credit in Consumer Behavior and Global Marketing.

Learn about outdoor products and services provided in the industry through feeling, analyzing, and exploring your way through France and Italy.
