Meet senior Kendall Jasper! Kendall is a Marketing major with a Business Analytics minor from Fayetteville. On campus, he has been involved with the Business Communications Lab as a tutor, served as a Project Manager at the McMillion Innovation Studio, and participated in the Venture Intern Program with Startup Junkie. Additionally, he has been a campus ambassador for General Mills and worked as a Retail Sales Intern this past summer. Kendall has accepted a full-time role with General Mills upon graduation.

Q&A with Kendall:

How has your campus involvement enhanced your college experience?

"Each of my roles & jobs at the University of Arkansas has not only given me hands-on experience in my field but also helped me connect with diverse groups of people and build lasting relationships. Through these activities, I've developed critical skills, from communication and leadership to project management. Each experience has given me confidence and has shown me the importance of staying curious, taking initiative, and working collaboratively with others toward shared goals. These lessons and connections continue to be valuable as I approach the finish line for undergrad and prepare for my career."

What advice do you have for younger students?

"Be a 'yes' person and take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Don't shy away from uncomfortable situations, as they're where real growth happens. Embrace challenges and new experiences, even if they are outside of your comfort zone, because they will help you learn, adapt, and build confidence."

What is your favorite WCOB class?

"Professor McEver's Selling & Sales Management class! I was unfamiliar with the sales world prior to taking his class, but I came out of that class with an interest and passion for the profession of Sales. We took a deep dive into each step in the sales process, and we then put our sales skills to the test by competing in the WCOB Sales Competition, which was an eye opening and rewarding experience."
