QA with Reagan:
How has your campus involvement shaped your college experience?
My campus involvement has been the most meaningful bridge between classroom learning and business practice. Leading the Springdale High School Mentorship Program strengthened my ability to organize teams and build trust-based relationships while helping prepare the next generation of business professionals. Competing on the Walton MBA Case Competition Team has sharpened my strategic thinking and executive communication skills, while connecting me with faculty and campus resources that push me to perform at a higher level.
What’s a Walton College resource you’ve found helpful?
One of the most helpful Walton College resources for me has been our faculty. Through my coursework and graduate assistantship with the Department of Marketing, I’ve been able to engage in projects and conversations beyond the classroom that expanded my perspective and opened doors well beyond a single course.
What experiences inside the classroom have shaped your academic or career path so far?
One of the most shaping themes of the Walton MBA has been learning how to be an effective storyteller. Over time, I have seen how storytelling strengthens outcomes in tangible ways, from articulating a clear narrative about my experiences in recruiter conversations to translating data into insights that leaders can quickly understand and use. The ability to turn insights into clear narratives that move an audience to action has directly influenced my career opportunities and helped set me up for success beyond Walton.
