Students in accounting, finance and information systems were invited by Beta Alpha Psi to the Meet the Employers career fair on Sept. 7.

With hands-on experience provided by Walton College's Global Markets Financial Trading Center, coupled with our student-managed investment funds and experienced faculty and corporate connections, Walton College finance majors are given the competitive edge they need in this dynamic field.
The study of finance opens doors to meaningful and rewarding career options in a wide range of industries. Often seen as a launching pad for high achievement in other fields, a finance degree most notably prepares students for careers in banking, investment management, insurance and real estate.
Whether a student intends to be a finance specialist or a generalist, financial markets and corporate finance are elemental building blocks of business.

The establishment of GFI was made possible through a generous $2 million gift from the Garrison Family to help build a nationally competitive financial services industry in the State of Arkansas. An additional $2 million was provided through the Matching Gift Program, made possible by the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation's $300 million gift to the University of Arkansas. Both grants help support investment research, and fund the Garrison Financial Institute.
