We are proud of our Full-Time MBA students for their engagement and growth during Professional Development Week, a focused week designed to help students sharpen the skills that matter most as they prepare for impactful careers. Throughout the week, students participated in immersive sessions focused on leadership, communication, career strategy, and problem-solving, including: - Leading without a title and building career confidence - Salary negotiation training with industry leaders from Walmart - Leveraging artificial intelligence in the job search - Public speaking and pitching with real-world application - Career coaching and advising sessions - Leading championship teams and translating lessons from athletics to business - Creative problem-solving through design thinking We are grateful to the faculty, career coaches, and guest speakers who invested their time and expertise into creating a meaningful experience for our students. Our Full-Time Walton MBA students wrapped up the final mentorship session of 2025 in December at Springdale High School with a focus on LinkedIn and networking fundamentals. This mentorship program, offered in partnership with the Arkansas Mentor Fund, continues to create meaningful opportunities for students to build confidence and professional skills early. Students kicked off the session with a get-to-know-me networking bingo, connecting with one another and with mentors as they practiced starting conversations and building relationships. The session concluded with insights from guest speaker Kaylea Carpenter, Senior Customer Manager - Walmart Seasonal at Mars, who shared practical advice on using LinkedIn to tell your story, grow your network, and explore future opportunities. We are grateful to our mentors, partners, and guest speaker for their continued investment in these students.
