Student Bios

Samuel graduated in summa cum laude in December with a double major in accounting and information systems. He was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Junior and James Modisette Scholar for achievement and excellence in accounting. He has accepted a; position in deal advisory at KPMG in Dallas.

Kaylen is double majoring in management and political science. She is an Arkansas Alumni Association Senior of Significance, an associate justice for Associated Student Government Judicial, and membership director of the Student Society of Management Excellence. After graduation, she will attend law school at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Mitchelle is double majoring in marketing and supply chain management. She has won the Presenter of the Year Award, served in the Youth Ministry of Christian Life Cathedral, and has been named to the Chancellor's List three years in a row. She is currently seeking full-time opportunities for after graduation.

Alice has been named to the Chancellor's List and received the Ethel Harper Phillips and Walton College Academic Scholarships. After graduation, she will be working as an auditor for Tyson Foods and is very excited to put in practice everything she has learned at Walton College.

Ian is double-majoring in finance and marketing. He has been named to the Chancellors List every semester of college, is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, and is proud of being able to graduate with a double major while balancing a year-round internship. After graduation, he will work as a financial analyst in the Prepared Foods division at Tyson Foods in Springdale.

Bri is an economics major and part of the Accelerated MBA program. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Societies, a founding member of Women in Finance, and a recipient of the Student Alumni Association Scholarship. After studying abroad in Bali/Indonesia with an extended trip to Australia this summer, she will start a consulting internship with Mastercard and complete her MBA degree in May 2024.

Hunter will be completing his degree with a 4.0 GPA and received the Arkansas Rehabilitation Scholarship. After graduation, he will attend the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he has been selected for the Dean’s Scholarship.

Rebecca will be graduating in May with undergraduate degrees in accounting and information systems and a master’s degree in accounting. She served as vice president of Student Ambassadors, co-president of Beta Gamma Sigma, and a tax graduate assistant. After graduation, she will work for KPMG in their international tax practice.

Chip is double majoring in finance and accounting. He is a member of Sigma Nu and enjoys football games and baseball games. After graduation, he will continue at Walton in the Integrated Master of Accountancy program and then sit for the CPA exam.

Thomas is an international business major. He is a recipient of the Extended Research Travel Grant and Honors Study Abroad Grant and participated in the 100 Years of Pier Paolo Pasolini Symposium. He is seeking full-time employment opportunities after graduation.

Grace was an Arkansas Alumni Association Senior of Significance in 2022; has interned at Colgate-Palmolive and the American University of Rome, and was awarded best presenter at the MBA SEC Case Competition and the Inaugural Faith in the Workplace Competition. After graduation, she will move to Austin, Texas, to work at Deloitte as a business technology solutions analyst in the Government and Public Service division.

William was co-principal bass for the University of Arkansas Symphony, won first place at the Stephen's Equity Research Competition, and is completing his degree with a 4.0 GPA. He is working full-time as the west regional sales development manager for Tina's Burritos, America's best frozen burritos.

Gracie is a member of Pi Beta Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. She interned at StillPoint Accounting in Springdale, with whom she has accepted a full-time offer after she completes the Integrated Master of Accountancy program next year.

Hannah is a member of the Walton Honors Program and received the MIS Outstanding Student Scholarship and Cherokee Nation Scholarship. After graduation, she plans to travel to Europe and is in job negotiations with several companies.

Brooklynn is a member of Delta Gamma and Alpha Kappa Psi and has been named to the Dean's List. After graduation, she will work for Pepsico as a supply chain associate.

Rachel will be graduating in May with both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in accounting. She is a recipient of the Arkansas CPA Scholarship, co-author of ChatGPT Accounting Research Publication, and served as vice president of communication for Beta Alpha Psi. After graduation, she will move to Denver to work for KPMG in the Business Tax Services - Asset Management Department.

Megan is double majoring in supply chain management and economics. She was the 2022 Presidential Scholar for the Walton College, an AWESOME Scholar Recipient, and served as president of Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence. After graduation she will be starting her career as a merchandising logistics manager at Sam's Club.

Katie has studied abroad and earned an Honors College Study Abroad Grant. She has also been named to the Chancellor's List. After graduation, she will continue at Walton College in the Master of Science in Marketing program.

Elizabeth is a senior on the Arkansas Soccer Team, president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and was captain of the 2023 intramural basketball championship team. Next year, she will be using her fifth year of eligibility on the Arkansas Soccer Team to pursue a Master of Science in Finance, after spending the summer interning with VP Companies in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Grace is completing her degree Manga Cum Laude, is a published Dean’s Signature Scholar in the Honors College, and a two-time world record holding 67.5kg powerlifter. After graduation, she will continue working full-time with Startup Junkie as the operational manager for the Fuel Accelerator Program in Bentonville.

Jillian is a volleyball student-athlete at the University of Arkansas and is a two-time Volleyball SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. After graduation, she plans to continue the Accelerated MBA program at Walton College and compete as a student-athlete using her fifth year of eligibility.

Annie is double majoring in accounting and finance. She was an accounting graduate assistant this year and is completing her undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude. After completing her Master of Accountancy at Walton College, she will begin a public accounting career with PWC in Kansas City.

Zach is a finance major. He was awarded the Buddy Bostick Scholarship, was a Winner of Quinnipiac GAME global investment forum with the Rebsamen Trust Student Managed Fund, and named to the Chancellor’s List. After graduation, he will work at Walmart in their Accounting Finance Development Program.

Colton is a recipient of the W.E. Manning Memorial Scholarship and is proud to be named the Outstanding Professional Master of Applied Business Analytics Student. After graduation, he will continue to work at FedEx Freight as a Business Intelligence Analyst.

Reece is triple majoring in accounting, finance, and information systems. He is an Honors College Fellow, has been lead tutor at the Student Success Center since freshman year, and is president and cofounder of Amnesty International at the U of A. After graduation, he will work as a financial analyst in Walmart’s Accounting and Finance Development Program.

Connor was a winner of the 2023 Stephen’s Stock Pitch Competition, is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and volunteers at various animal shelters throughout the state. After graduation, he is seeking full-time employment in the financial services industry and is excited to apply the skills and knowledge gained through the Master of Science in Finance program to a role that will allow him to contribute to the industry in a meaningful way.

Travis will be graduating summa cum laude in May with both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in accounting. He is a recipient of a graduate assistantship and has interned with EY. After graduation, he will work for EY in Dallas as a staff accountant in their auditing department.

Caroline is double majoring in accounting and Spanish, is an Honors College Fellow, and vice president of meetings for Beta Alpha Psi. She volunteers with the Sin Límites program for bilingual education in Springdale elementary schools. She will be continuing at Walton College next year in the Master of Accountancy program.

Regan is double majoring in accounting and finance. She is vice president of Beta Alpha Psi, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and studied abroad with CIMBA in summer 2021. After graduation, she will be continuing at Walton College in the Integrated Master of Accountancy program.

Mackenzie is double majoring in marketing and supply chain management. She is a member of SOOIE and Zeta Tau Alpha. She is interning with The Hershey Company with whom she has accepted a category analyst role after graduation. While her job location is still to be announced, she is hopeful to remain at the Bentonville location.

Connor has been named to the Chancellor’s List every semester of college, is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and served as president of Kappa Alpha Order. He is currently interning at Tyson Foods and is seeking a full-time opportunity there.

Savannah served as president of Student Society of Management Excellence and master of rituals and vice president of membership for Alpha Kappa Psi. After graduation, she will continue working full-time as an enterprise customer development specialist for SupplyPike, a supply chain software company.

Nate was a recipient of the Ethel Harper Phillips Scholarship, the Matthew Ridgway Jones Endowed Scholarship, and the Chancellor's Scholarship. After graduation, he will work as an investment banking analyst at Truist Securities in Atlanta.

Daniel is double majoring in finance and accounting. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, president of the Walton College Finance Association, and involved in fixed income and portfolio management student-managed funds classes. After graduation, he will move to Little Rock to work for Stephens Inc. in the Corporate Finance division.

Ashley’s most important accomplishment is her children. After graduation, she will be working at an economic consulting firm.

Abigail is double majoring in economics and political science. She is an Honors College Fellow, was a member of the ASG Senate, and participated in Model United Nations. After graduation, she will attend law school.

Sergio is an economics major. He won the National Model United Nations Outstanding Delegate award and is a recipient of the Honors College Student Research Grant Scholarship. He plans to graduate in December, after which he wants to complete an internship while applying for graduate school in economics.

Madison is a recipient of the NRTA Scholarship and has been named to the Chancellor's List and the Walton College Dean's List. After graduation, she plans to attend law school.

Heidi is a supply chain management major. She has served as president of Kappa Delta President, graduating student leader for the Division of Student Affairs, and is a member Sigma Chi Mu Tau honor society. After graduation, she will work as a subcontract administrator for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth.

John is an innovation and entrepreneurship major. He is a member of SAE, enjoys attending Razorback sporting events, and is proud of being able to maintain a 4.0 GPA. After graduation, he will pursue a career in business and real estate.

Krystal’s most important priorities are spending time with her family, getting outside and being active, and staying connected in her church. She has worked in the transportation industry for 16 years and is currently a director of sales at J.B. Hunt Transport, where she plans to continue her career.

Derek was a finalist at the Rams Operations Stimulus Supply Chain Challenge, an International Team Leader in Thailand with Cru, and is graduating Summa Cum Laude. After graduation, he will work as a customer logistics analyst at Kimberly Clark..

Maggie has been named to the Chancellor’s List every semester and has served as corresponding secretary for Zeta Tau Alpha and member relations chairman of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in marketing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Shannon is president of Economics Forum, was named outstanding delegate at the National Model United Nations Conference, and was a Capitaf Scholar. After graduation, she has accepted a position in the rotational program with Colgate-Palmolive, with whom she previously interned.

Sam is a double major in information systems and Arabic. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma a recipient of the AIS and the King Fahd Center for Middle East Studies Scholarships. He works full-time at Walton College as a system administrator and will start the Professional Master of Information Systems program this fall.

Yumi holds an associate’s degree from Northwest Arkansas Community College and is a recipient of the Turn 2 Into 4 Scholarship, the University of Arkansas Academic Scholarship, and the Ruby B. Matthew Scholarship. She is currently in interview processes for full-time employment.

Jennifer is a marketing major and has been highly involved in many campus activities and multiple internships. Some of the highlights of her career at Walton include being a recipient of the Generations Bank Fleischer Scholarship and serving as a Walton social media ambassador and co-leader of the Future Women Business Leaders’ mentorship program. She is currently in the process of selecting between two companies for post-graduation employment.

Lauryn is a Walton Honors Student, a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, and a Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures scholarship recipient. After getting married in July, Lauryn will attend the Integrated Master of Accountancy program at Walton College. After passing the CPA exam and gaining a few years of professional experience, she plans to open her own tax practice near Kansas City, Missouri.

Maegan will be graduating Summa Cum Laude. She completed the Eswatini Service-Learning Internship and serves as college ministry leader at Antioch Church in Fayetteville. After graduation, she will work in the missions department at Milestone Church in Keller, Texas, doing local outreach in the community.

She served as chair of the Dean's Student Collaboration Team, director of external relations for the Walton Honors Executive Board and received a Student Undergraduate Research Fellowship Grant. After graduation, she will work as a management consultant at Credera, a global management and technology consulting firm in Dallas.

Paige is a member of Chi Omega and Future Women Business Leaders and participated in Students Acquiring Knowledge through Enterprise (S.A.K.E.), Walton’s student-run business class. After graduation, she will work as a financial analyst for AT&T at their Dallas headquarters.

Erica was principal cellist of the University Symphony Orchestra, received the Arkansas State Society of CPAs Scholarship Award, and earned the Presidential Community Service Award for three years in a row. After graduation, she will work as a tax accountant at Walton Enterprises, Inc. in Bentonville.

He received five different academic scholarships across all semesters of college, is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and has been named to the Chancellor's List recipient every semester at the University of Arkansas. After graduation, he will work as a management trainee with Lexus corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas.

Eric is a member of the MBA Student Advisory Board, an Ironman coach and participant, and proud grandfather. He is a doctor of medicine, and after graduation will continue full-time practice at Baxter Health, begin development of a consulting LLC for primary care prevention and accountable healthcare organization advisement, and plans to start Walton’s healthcare data analytics master’s in 2024.

Cade served as a Walton Honors lead peer mentor. He also served as a summer mission team leader to Thailand and Bible study student leader for Cru. He is seeking full-time employment opportunities in northwest Arkansas for after graduation.

Hanna has received an Honors College research grant for her thesis on the effects of studying abroad on mental health. She served on the board for Leadership Walton, has been named to the Chancellor's List every semester and is completing her undergraduate degree with a 4.0. Next year she will take a gap year while applying to medical school.

Ryan is an information systems major. He has served as vice president of the Association for Information Systems and a KLIFE Small Group Leader. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and an Arkansas Alumni Association Senior of Significance. After graduation, he will move to Houston to work for Phillips 66 in their Information Technology Department.

Ashley is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and has visited over 20 countries. Following the EMBA trip to Chile this summer, she will have been on all continents except Antarctica. After graduation she will continue working as the sales director for Sam’s Club at Reckitt, where she oversees all hygiene brands and will serve on the Walton MBA Alumni Advisory Board.

James is an Eagle Scout, served as head delegate for National Model United Nations, and was a 2023 Capitaf Scholar. After graduation, he will continue at Walton College in the Master of Science in Economics Analytics program.

She has served as vice president of communications for Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence, been awarded Outstanding Position Paper at the National Model United Nations Conference, and is an AWESOME Excellence in Education Scholarship recipient. After graduation, she will be starting Nestle's four-year Supply Chain Development Program with her first rotation in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
