Congratulations to Walton Executive MBA student Dr. Analiz Rodriguez MD, PhD, FAANS on winning the 2023 UAMS Chancellor’s Award of Excellence in Clinical Innovation!
This award is presented to UAMS faculty members who display a sustained commitment
to high quality and innovative patient care and have significantly advanced clinical
practice.
Dr. Rodriguez is an Associate Professor and Director of Neurosurgical Oncology at
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a member of the 2023 Walton Executive
MBA cohort with a dual emphasis in healthcare and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Rodriguez graduated from New College of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry
and obtained her MD and PhD from the National Institute of Health Medical Scientist
Training Program at Case Western Reserve University. She completed her neurosurgery
residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health and her neurosurgical oncology fellowship
at City of Hope National Medical Center.
