Adam decided to pursue an MBA because he wanted to advance his career and accelerate
his personal growth: “I’m always striving to continuously improve and I knew the Walton
EMBA program would help me accomplish this.”
The most transformative part of the program for Adam has been the professors: “They
are passionate about the subjects they teach and preparing us to succeed in our careers.”
As a working professional, he also appreciates being able to relate to the subject
matter. “At the graduate level, I’m able to apply my career experiences to the material
and take away more lasting learnings,” shares Grant.
Adam is grateful for the diversity of his cohort: “Being back in a diverse, academic
environment helps elevate my skill set and leadership abilities by exposing me to
new perspectives. Being in group projects has allowed me to continue learning how
to collaborate with people of different backgrounds, skillsets, and personalities.”
Originally from Salisbury, MD, Adam graduated from the University of North Carolina
Wilmington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He enjoys listening
to music, going to concerts, reading, staying active, and traveling.
