STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Megan Nichols (Walton EMBA ’24)
Megan Nichols is Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager at Regions Bank in
Dallas, TX. She graduated from the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith with a Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration – Finance, attended the Barret Graduate School of
Banking and is currently pursuing her Walton Executive MBA at the University of Arkansas.
Megan decided to pursue an MBA to be the best version of herself. She chose the Walton
MBA based on its strong reputation and brand. “From a young age, I promised myself
that I would be a Razorback one day… today is that day!” Megan shares.
The most transformative part of the program for Megan has been learning from the outstanding
Walton MBA faculty and working alongside her cohort. The program has elevated her
skillset: “this program has taught me about all facets of being a leader – from learning
when to lead to learning when to be led,” says Nichols.
Megan enjoys learning about the world of business and recommends “Unbreakable” by
Bradley L. Kirkman and Adam C. Stoverink. She says, “It’s a very timely read in this
ever-changing world in which we live.”
