In the first month after its virtual opening, the CSCMP Supply Chain Hall of Fame has experienced a strong start.
Two CSCMP Roundtable events were held with socially distanced attendees in the room and additional attendees online.
The first Master of Science in Supply Chain Management classes were taught in the hall of fame space, and Dean Matt Waller, recipient of the 2020 Distinguished Service Award, participated in a ceremony to include his name on the wall with other DSA winners.
Roundtable supply chain events
The Ozarks Roundtable held two Roundtable discussions on the topics of OTIF in the CSCMP Supply Chain Hall of Fame. Panelists and facilitators were present on-site, distanced and masked, along with select participants. Many others joined online. The Roundtable is planning monthly meetings moving forward.
Master of Science in Supply Chain Management Courses
What better place to teach classes for the new Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program than the CSCMP Supply Chain Hall of Fame! Students of the inaugural program cohort enjoy classes (masked and distanced) surrounded by the Henry Ford exhibit.
Dean Waller is the 2020 recipients of CSCMP’s Distinguished Service Award (DSA). DSA winners are included in the Hall of Fame and Dean Waller now joins the wall that includes Fred Smith, founder of FEDEX; Don Schneider, founder of Schneider Transportation; and and many founding fathers of the discipline.
