Hailey Schneider’s journey into business began with curiosity—and quickly turned into a passion for understanding how organizations operate and succeed.

After earning her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas in 2024, Schneider discovered an interest in the strategic and decision-making side of business. That curiosity led her to pursue the full-time MBA program, where she’s building the skills to translate insight into impact. Ahead of graduation in 2026, she was selected as the program’s Outstanding Graduate Scholar.

Below, Hailey shares more about her journey, her experience in the program, and her advice for others considering a future in business administration.

Did you always plan on a career in business administration?

I did not always plan on going into business administration, but when I started working, I quickly realized that I wanted to understand how business ran and how decisions were made.

What made you choose the full-time MBA program?

Being connected with Walmart and all the amazing companies in Bentonville lets you see first-hand how our learnings apply to the real world. The professors and staff are just incredible, and that became apparent during the interview process.

What is your current job? How are you applying what you’re learning in the program?

I am currently the Walmart Customer Development Intern at Henkel. I have used my business analytics coursework to uncover insights and quantify solutions, and Leadership and Strategic concepts through collaboration within my team. Everything that I have learned so far has served me well throughout my journey!

What are your favorite moments or memories from the program?

I am super excited to go to India for our immersion trip, but my favorite so far has been the Christmas party and cooking dinner for the food pantry.

As you approach graduation, what advice would you give to prospective or current students?

Apply, apply, apply! This has been my favorite year of education by far. This program has connected me with great friends, mentors, and knowledge that has set me up for success. Don’t be intimidated. I did not come from a business background, so I was scared I might be behind, but the way these people pour into you and receive your questions eliminated all my worries.

How has the program prepared you for future success?

I am on the right track to lock down a full-time role upon graduation that is a great opportunity to start my career. I have had full support every step of the way!
