Q&A With Macy:
What's a Walton College resource you've found helpful?
A resource that I have found especially helpful at the Walton College is the mentorship offered. This includes not only the mentorship from being paired with alumni, but also the guidance provided by my advisors and program directors. They have listened to me, acknowledged my goals, and introduced me to knowledgeable individuals who genuinely want to help me succeed.
What's you favorite class at Walton and why?
My favorite class would be Professional Development, taught by Adam Stoverink, Ph.D. and Matt Waller. This class helped me self-reflect and become more self-aware of who I am and what I want my professional career and life to look like. This class also taught me the importance of investing in yourself and asking for feedback, as that is crucial for growth, and most importantly, thanking those who have played a part in my journey.
