The Master of Business Administration program in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the U of A has once again been recognized by The Princeton Review as one of the nation's Best On-Campus MBA Programs, earning a place among the publication's Best Business Schools for 2027 report.

"This recognition speaks to what makes the Walton M.B.A. experience distinctive," said Adam Stoverink, executive director for Walton M.B.A. programs. "Our students learn in one of the most dynamic business communities in the country, where what happens in the classroom is continually connected to what's happening across industry. That environment gives students opportunities to broaden their perspective, build meaningful professional relationships and develop the judgment and skills to lead at every stage of their careers."

The Princeton Review selected schools based on surveys conducted during 2025 and 2026 of administrators at 245 business schools and more than 24,250 students enrolled in their M.B.A. programs.

The survey of administrators requested data on the program academics, faculty, career services and other topics. The survey of students asked them to rate their program's academics, professors, technology, student body and campus life, as well as to report on their satisfaction with their program and their career plans.

The Princeton Review's website profile highlights the Walton M.B.A.'s strong connections to the Northwest Arkansas business community, which provides ample opportunities to interact with Fortune 500 CEOs. According to The Princeton Review's editors, students in both full-time and part-time programs are "bowled over by the quality of the academic experience," with surveyed students praising professors as "incredibly gifted in their field of research" and "truly excited about the material they teach." The U of A also made the publication's Top 50 Entrepreneurship: Grad list at No. 20 and the Top South Entrepreneurship: Grad list at No. 3.

"We congratulate the Sam M. Walton College of Business, along with the other institutions that made our Best Business Schools for 2027 lists," said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief. "They differ importantly in program offerings, specializations and other aspects, but they all met our key criteria for designating them as 'best.' We recommend each and every one of them for their excellent academics, robust experiential learning opportunities, outstanding career services and the positive feedback we received from their very own customers—their on-campus M.B.A. students we surveyed."

Information about the methodology for the school selections, rankings and ratings is on The Princeton Review website.
