Q&A with Nadia:

How has being a Promise Scholarship recipient impacted your college journey?

"The El Dorado Promise is such an amazing opportunity. Being a recipient of this scholarship, I am able to go to college with my tuition fully covered. It is such an amazing privilege that helps tremendously with college expenses, and it gives me the motivation and confidence to invest in myself and to learn as much as I possibly can at a university that has so much knowledge to offer."

How has your campus involvement enhanced your college experience?

"Campus involvement has been such an important part of my college career. I have the opportunity to learn from amazing peers that push me to be better every day. Being involved in Greek life has allowed me to create a healthy school-life balance by introducing me to like-minded women who share similar aspirations and goals."

What is a Walton College resource you have utilized that has benefited you?

"Walton Career Connections has been vital during my time at Walton College. The career coaches have helped me with resume revisions, elevator pitches, and interview preparation. As a first-generation college student, it has helped immensely in navigating how to shape my business professionalism. It is such an amazing resource that I think every student should take advantage of!"
