Information Systems Master's Degree Programs: Admissions Process
The admissions decisions are based on a faculty committee review of your application packet. Emphasis is placed on work experience, undergraduate GPA and a GMAT or GRE score. The Professional MIS program, as opposed to the traditional full-time MIS, is intended for the individual who can't attend class every day because of work or family obligations.
Admissions into the Master of Information Systems Program
Applications for the full-time Master of Information Systems Program should be submitted by November 1st.
Prerequisites for the program include fundamental knowledge in areas of business and information systems. We provide the opportunity to gain this prerequisite knowledge through completion of the information systems and business analytics toolkit (self-paced course provided during the summer).
Admissions into the Professional Master of Information Systems Program
Applicants for the part-time Professional Masters of Information Systems Program who would like to take advantage of an early decision must submit an application by April 1st. Final deadline for applications to the Professional MIS program is July 1st.
A GMAT/GRE waiver is available for select Professional MIS candidates. If you have at least five years of quality work experience and a strong prior academic record, you may be eligible for a waiver. Please contact us for more details.
