Traditionally, the SCMRC concludes every semester with Demo Day: a full day event featuring final presentations from the students within the special projects course within the Walton Supply Chain Program.
This course is a hallmark of the practice based learning that is embedded into the Walton SCM curriculum, engaging leading industry organizations in the classroom. Within this course, students tackle real world supply chain challenges, ideating, researching, and ultimately proposing solutions to the sponsoring company.
While Demo Day has traditionally focused on the final presentations for this course, the SCMRC is reimagining this event and is excited to host the Walton SCM Showcase on Friday, December 3rd, 2021.
The reimagined format of this event will still feature project presentations but will also be expanded to feature an industry address and a student panel discussion showcasing the value of integrated industry within our program.
