Turner’s talk, which is free and open to the public, will be from 10:45-11:35 a.m. in the auditorium of the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development at the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

Turner earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. For 13 years, he was a partner in the Dallas office of McKinsey & Company, the world’s largest strategic management consulting firm. While there he served clients in retail, restaurant, consumer packaged goods, airline, high-tech and media.

Turner led McKinsey’s Service Operations practice in North America, focusing ways to help clients improve the effectiveness and productivity of their workforce. Turner also led McKinsey’s Restaurant Service Line, supporting restaurant companies in the United States and globally. He also headed up the company’s retail operations team and recruiting efforts for its offices in the southern United States.

He joined PepsiCo in February 2016. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Accenture and Walmart.
