Brook was a columnist at Forbes.com, and his articles have appeared in major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Investor’s Business Daily, among many other publications. Brook travels extensively as the institute’s spokesman.
His lecture is scheduled from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in the auditorium of the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development.
Brook is co-author of the 2016 book Equal is Unfair: America’s Misguided Fight Against Inequality. He also co-wrote Free Market Revolution: How Ayn Rand’s Ideas Can End Big Government. He can be heard weekly on The Yaron Brook Show on the BlogTalkRadio podcast. The program also airs on radio stations in Chicago, Miami and Denver. Brook is a frequent guest on national radio and television programs.

Brook was born and raised in Israel. He served as a first sergeant in Israeli military intelligence and earned a degree in civil engineering from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. In 1987 he moved to the United States, where he received his master of business administration degree and Ph.D. in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. For seven years, Brook was an award-winning finance professor at Santa Clara University. In 1998, he co-founded BH Equity Research, a private equity and hedge fund manager, of which he is managing director and chairman.
