The Business Integrity Leadership Initiative will host three guest speakers this spring, all of whom are experts in emerging technology. To accompany the speaker series, program participants will also have the opportunity to read the book of the semester, Real World AI: A Practical Guide for Responsible Machine Learning by Alyssa Simpson Rochwerger and Wilson Pang.

The speaker series kicks off on Feb. 9 and ends on April 6 with the three experts below:



  1. Peter W. Singer, strategist and senior fellow at The New America Foundation, author, and Arizona State University professor of practice

  2. Jerry Jones, executive vice president, chief legal and ethics officer, LiveRamp, and senior advisor, Club de Madrid

  3. Alyssa Simpson Rochwerger, director of product, Blue Shield of California, and co-author of this semester’s book, Real World AI


Let’s Talk S.A.M. Career Readiness Badges

The Business Integrity Leadership Initiative aspires to help build and strengthen a culture of integrity within the university and all organizations. To communicate the lessons learned through the Let’s Talk program to employers, students may earn career readiness badges to highlight on their LinkedIn profile and resume. Faculty, staff and community members may also earn a continuous learning e-certificate to display on their LinkedIn profiles.

The BIS Video and Podcast Series Season 5

The Walton College Business Integrity Leadership Initiative is releasing a new video and podcast season this spring to complement the Let’s Talk about Ethical AI program. Season 5 of The BIS (Business Integrity School) focuses on the broader topic of responsible and ethical technology overall. The season begins on Jan. 20.  It features 15 guests, including executives from technology companies, established and start-ups, fintech, the medical field, higher education, and NGOs.
