Gartner, the world’s leading research and advisory company, has released its Top 25 North American Supply Chain Undergraduate University Programs survey for 2020.

The supply chain management program at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas was ranked No. 15 by Gartner and No. 11 by U.S. News & World Report in 2018.

The University of Arkansas is located in the major supply chain hub of Northwest Arkansas. Such proximity to many CPG manufacturing companies and logistics providers means supply chain management students are able to enhance learning by interacting with industry partners.

With an integrated curriculum incorporating all aspects of global supply chain management, the Department of Supply Chain Management exposes students to the components that make up the industry. A required internship, project-based courses from industry partners applied supply chain analytical skills training, and Lean Six Sigma certifications provide students with the resources they need to succeed in supply chain careers.

The Walton College’s Supply Chain Management Research Center has member companies that provide experiences such as job shadowing, conference invitations and exclusive networking events. Through these opportunities, Walton College supply chain students gain hands-on experience that can be applied to curriculum, internships and full-time jobs.

This survey will be open through Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020. Take a minute to fill out the brief, two-question survey.

Students also collaborate with peers, faculty and supply chain leaders about industry experiences through Walton College resources such as Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence and the Arkansas Supply Chain Association.
