How the Application Process Works
- Apply Now to register for an account and activate your PIN and password. (Chrome or Firefox is recommended)
- Choose the Walton Graduate School of Business application.
- Fill out and Submit the online application form.
- Upload the supporting documents in your Application Portal.

In addition to the Online Application and a $60 Application Fee, the following documents are required:
Transcripts and Final Degree Conferrals
- Unofficial copies can be uploaded for an initial application review (official copies are needed to finalize admission).
- If you are a current or former U of A student, we have your official Arkansas transcript on file. You do not need to submit another copy.
Graduate Level Test Scores (GMAT or GRE)
- A GMAT score is required for the Master’s of Accountancy (MACC) program. For all other master’s degree programs, students may be eligible for a GMAT/GRE test waiver with a 3.2 undergraduate GPA or 3 years of professional work experience. Please review our full master’s admissions catalog policy.
- All international applicants with only international academic transcripts must submit a valid GMAT or GRE exam as part of their complete application packet.
- Unofficial copies can be uploaded for an initial application review (official copies are needed to finalize admission).
Statement of Purpose
- This is a professional statement of purpose including your goals and achievements, no more than 2 pages double spaced.

Résumé
- Document and highlight your professional and academic achievements.
Letters of Recommendation
- You will input the names and email addresses of 3 professional references in your Application Portal.
- They will then receive an automated email request to upload a letter on your behalf.
- If you are a working professional, you may include all employment-based references.

Senior Waiver
For students 60 years and older, if you are interested in applying for the University’s Senior Waiver, please read through the General Student Fee Waiver for Students Sixty Years of Age or Older policy. Please keep in mind that program-specific fees are not waived under this policy. This would include the program fees associated with the Executive MBA, Healthcare Executive MBA, Professional MIS, Professional MABA, and Enterprise Systems graduate certificates. Students approved for the senior waiver would still be charged all fees associated with these professional programs. More information is also available on the University of Arkansas website.

Affidavit
- You must attest to having earned an accredited undergraduate degree to qualify for graduate admission: https://graduate-and-international.uark.edu/_resources/forms/affidavit.pdf
List of Graduate Class Requests
- You will need to submit a list of the requested graduate classes you wish to take.
- A maximum of 12 hours of non-degree coursework may apply to a future degree program with full admission and department approval.

English Language Requirement
International applicants are required to submit a valid English language test score for admission review. Please visit the International Admissions website for accepted tests, minimum scores, and potential English language course requirements.
Ph.D. Language Requirement
Ph.D. students have a second/additional speak and writing score requirement for graduate assistantship duties.
I-20 or DS-2019 Additional Documents
Additional admissions documents will be required to produce an I-20 or DS-2019, and they will appear in the Application Portal following admission.
International Credential Evaluation
The University of Arkansas conducts its own internal international credential evaluation. No outside evaluations are accepted.
Official Transcripts and Degrees
Required, official international transcripts/mark sheets/diplomas/degree conferrals for admitted students can be brought to the Graduate School of Business upon arrival. Visit International Admissions for more details.
