Sullivant is overseeing Enactus, a Walton College sponsored entrepreneurial program for students and other commerce-focused student organizations.
“I am thrilled to have Rachel working alongside our students,” said Jessica Salmon, director of the Center for Retailing Excellence. “With so much experience leading Enactus business competition teams and a passion for social innovation programs, Rachel will be a huge asset for our students, our faculty and for our college.”
Sullivant previously worked for Soderquist Leadership, a leadership development consulting organization, as Enactus co-adviser, project coordinator and spreadsheet analytics instructor. She co-taught spreadsheet analytics to 30 students and managed three overseas social entrepreneurial projects for students attending John Brown University. Sullivant also advised six project leaders and led student business competitions, including the winning team at the 2017 Enactus USA National Exposition competition.
Prior to working at Soderquist Leadership, Sullivant served as a financial analyst and buyer for Bell Helicopter in Tennessee.
Sullivant earned an M.B.A. in international business from John Brown University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from East Tennessee State University.
She started her position Oct. 12.
