Judy R. McReynolds is chairman, president and CEO of ArcBest in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She has been with ArcBest for 25 years.

McReynolds was born in 1962 in Norman, Oklahoma. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. She held positions with Ernst & Young LLP and P.A.M. Transportation Services, Inc. before joining ArcBest in 1997 as director, corporate accounting. In 2010, she was named president and CEO, and in 2016, she became the only member of the company’s senior management on the board and was elected chairman. Under her leadership, ArcBest has evolved into a multibillion-dollar integrated logistics company and one of the best places to work in Arkansas. She leads over 15,000 employees across more than 250 campuses and service centers. ArcBest has seen 140 percent total revenue growth during her tenure as CEO.

McReynolds has been named to the Forbes 50 Over 50 list, Comparably’s Best CEO and Best CEOs for Women, Gartner CEO Talent Champion, WomenInc.‘s Most Influential Corporate Board Directors and one of Global Trade Magazine’s Top Ten Women in Logistics twice. She serves as chair of the American Transportation Research Institute Board, on the board and executive committee of American Trucking Associations, and on the boards of OGE Energy Corp., First Bank Corp. and First National Bank of Fort Smith. She is a member of the Walton College Dean’s Executive Advisory Board and Brandon Burlsworth Foundation Board. In 2016, she received the Burlsworth Legends Award, for Arkansans who have made a significant positive impact on the state. McReynolds received the Women in Trucking Association’s Distinguished Woman in Logistics Award in 2019.
