Teradata University for Academics
Teradata University for Academics serves as a bridge between academia and the world
of practice. The Walton College and Teradata are dedicated to being the premier academic
resource for knowledge about data warehousing, decision support systems, business
intelligence, and databases. Also, Walton College Enterprise Computing systems serve
as a host for universities to access large-scale, real-world databases.
Microsoft Enterprise Consortium
The Microsoft Enterprise Consortium, hosted by the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, utilizes Microsoft SQL Server 2016 suite of software products to support a broad base of academic learning and research interests world-wide. Over the past two years, thousands of faculty and students world-wide have accessed the Consortium resources for a wide-variety of teaching and learning activities and courses. New server resources were implemented in Fall 2009 to ensure strong performance for the anticipated growth in users.

IBM Academic Initiative
The University of Arkansas serves as an IBM hub for universities that are teaching
mainframe and open source Linux courses. The Sam M. Walton College of Business has
been enhancing students' class experiences through the use of courseware and access
to hardware and software provided by IBM and the Academic Initiative. The Sam M. Walton
College of Business has received a long-term loan of an IBM Systems z Mainframe Server
to run software from the IBM Academic Initiative.
